Advertisement/Distribution

In terms of advertisement there are numerous techniques that can be used. Films can be advertised through Television adverts, internet adverts, billboards, bus stops, buses, posters or even stunts. For example the new release of the animation 'Turbo' a stunt of a giant snail driving around on London's roads was carried out. This is a very interesting way to draw publicity.

Another cool way of advertisement was created by a very low budget documentary/film known as 'Dreams of a life'. An interactive site was created where a game based around the movie was made. This technique attracted many people but also people of the 'gaming/computing' social group. A group proven very difficult to reach out too. This is a very controversial way to advertise a movie. As our Thriller is low budget it would be more achievable for us to advertise our movie through some form of quirky social media technique.
