Saul Bass

Saul Bass (1920-1996) was a famous film maker who is particularly famous for his title sequences. Therefore I have looked at some of his work.

The man with the golden arm:

 This title sequence is very creative and a fun way of presenting names and producers and so on. Although these titles are an effective way of presenting names we as a group however aim to create a serious and important feel.

Psycho:

Bass also created the title sequence for the famous film 'Psycho'. Psychos title sequence is very creative and has a very eerie feel. The use of blind transitions of the titles makes the sequence more intriguing and has a very chilling feel to it.
